Power shutdown in several areas of Kashmir on March 10 and 11 for transformer commissioning

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (JKPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in multiple areas of Kashmir on March 10 and 11, 2025, to facilitate the commissioning of the NIFPES System for various transformers.

According to the Chief Engineer, JKPDCL Kashmir, the power supply will remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on both days due to work on the 160 MVA, 220/132 KV Transformer Banks at Alusteng Grid Stations.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to mitigate any inconvenience caused by the temporary power outage.
