Jammu, Jun 29: A 45-year-old woman pilgrim died of cardiac arrest on her way to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi district, police said today.
Anju Devi, a resident of Haryana’s Panipat, fell unconscious near Gauri Bhawan yesterday and was taken to a local dispensary where she was declared brought dead, a police official said.
He said the body of the woman was handed over to her accompanying family members after completion of legal formalities.
