25 persons injured in road accident in Rafiabad

Rafaiabad, Jun 29: At least two dozen passengers were injured, two of them critically, when a mini-bus turned turtle at Tragpora Rafiabad on Baramulla-Handwara highway in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

Sources said that a minibus (JK05B-1863) turned turtle Tragpora on Baramulla-Handwara highway while on way from Dangiwacha to Baramulla, resulting in injuries to 25 passenger on board.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment wherefrom two of the seriously injured passengers were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Police said a case has been registered in this regard.
