Srinagar: Police in Handwara have attached a two-story building comprising two shops and a hall belonging to a “notorious” drug peddler Reyaz Ahmad Lone, son of Sonullah Lone of Badrah Payeen under section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.
He said the property was identified as illegally acquired during the course of investigation by police. “The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking of Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances by the owner. The said notorious drug peddler was involved in case FIR No. 84/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act of Police Station Kralgund. The notorious drug peddler is currently under detention at Kot-Bhalwal Jammu under PIT-NDPS Act,” police said.
