Chief Justice lays foundation stone for construction of mini-auditorium at J&K Judicial Academy

JAMMU: Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (Patron-in-Chief, J&K Judicial Academy), Tashi Rabstan along with Justice Sindhu Sharma, Chairperson, Governing Committee for J&K Judicial Academy and members of Governing Committee for J&K Judicial Academy, today laid the foundation stone for construction of mini auditorium at J&K Judicial Academy, Janipur, Jammu.

Justice Atul Sreedharan, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice V.C. Koul, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Mohammad Akram Chowdhary, Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi and Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Judges of High Court of J&K and Ladakh were present during the foundation stone laying ceremony while Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Puneet Gupta, Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal and Justice Rajesh Sekhri participated virtually.

To support the infrastructural requirements at J&K Judicial Academy, Jammu, the proposed mini auditorium with a seating capacity of around 120 pax is a vindication of the novel initiative by the Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The mini auditorium will facilitate in improving the training quality and capacity for our Judicial Officers and other stakeholders.

The function was also attended by Shahzad Azeem, Registrar General, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Yash Paul Bourney, PDJ Jammu; M.K. Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, Sonia Gupta, Director, J&K Judicial Academy, Anoop Sharma, Registrar Computers along with other officers of the registry, Rajesh Gupta, Chief Engineer, Department of PW(R&B) and his team.
