Jammu: Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, is set to visit Surankote in Poonch and Srinagar on Monday, where he will address a series of public meetings.
According to an official statement, Gandhi will first hold a rally in Surankote at around 12 noon in support of Congress candidate Shah Nawaz Chaudhary. Later in the afternoon, he will travel to Srinagar, where he is scheduled to address another public gathering in central Shalteng in favor of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief, Tariq Hameed Karra.
Gandhi is expected to return to New Delhi in the evening following the rallies.
