Rafi Ahmad Mir extends a warm welcome to the new entrants

Srinagar: Prominent political leader and Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Anantnag, Mohammad Yousuf Gorsi, along with a number of his supporters, formally joined the Apni Party today during a special event held in the Sallar area of the Pahalgam constituency.

The party’s General Secretary and former legislator, Rafi Ahmad Mir, warmly welcomed the new members into the party’s fold.

Speaking on the occasion, Mir said, “I wholeheartedly welcome Gorsi Sahib and his supporters to the Apni Party. I am sure that his joining will further strengthen our party’s presence in this area. Together, we will work tirelessly to implement the party’s agenda which is to ensure peace, prosperity and development in Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring the restoration of constitutional rights, and promote development here.”

On this occasion, Mohammad Yousuf Gorsi expressed his appreciation for the Apni Party’s commitment to withdrawing FIRs against the youth and securing their release from jails after winning the public mandate in the upcoming assembly elections. He stated that the party’s commitment to ensuring general amnesty for the youth facing charges was a significant factor in his decision to join the party ranks.
