Secretary RDD reviews implementation of Governor’s directions

SRINAGAR, JUNE 21: Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Sheetal Nanda held a meeting to review the action taken on the directions issued by Governor, NN Vohra for completion of various works and to clear the pendencies in a time-bound manner.

The Secretary issued a slew of instructions to officers for immediate implementation of the Governor’s directions which included the completion of documents and other formalities with regard to the process of regularization of the Daily Wagers under SRO 520. She also directed the officers to clear the all the pending cases under SRO 43.

The process of filing the Annual Performance Report (APR) & Annual Property Statement by all the officers and officials must be done immediately without fail, directed Nanda.

In the meeting, it was decided that all the staff members working at the district level shall strictly mark their daily attendance on the bio-metric system.

Besides, it was also decided in the meeting that no leave shall be sanctioned without due approval of the Department and any non-compliance of the order will be treated as a ground for stern action.

The meeting was attended by Director Rural Development, Kashmir, Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, Director Rural Development Jammu, Mumtaz Chaudhary, Director Finance, Shadi Lal Pandita, Director Planning, Syed Shabir Shafi and other officers of the department.
