Srinagar: A missing man was found dead in the Tullihalan area of south Kashmir Shopian district on Friday.
An official said that an unknown dead body was found in Nalla Lar at Tullihalan Shopian.
He said that soon after locals spotted the body, they informed police which took over the body for medico-legal formalities.
The body was later identified as that of Manzoor Ahmad Mir (41), son of Ali Mohammad Mir, resident of Chotipora Shopian, who was missing from today morning.
Proceedings in this regard have been taken up.
