Chairman State Commission for Backward classes meets Governor

SRINAGAR, JUNE 19: Jeet Lal Gupta, Chairman, State Commission for Backward Classes met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.

Gupta briefed Governor about the functioning of the Commission and the various steps being taken to promote and protect the social, educational, economic and cultural interests of the Backward Classes in the State. He also apprised Governor about the various important matters concerning the Backward Classes which are still pending decision at various levels.
