Director JKEDI awards certificates to Tejaswini Scheme beneficiaries

JAMMU: Director Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Rajinder Kumar Sharma on Monday awarded training certificates among 22 aspirants trained under the Tejaswini scheme of Mission Youth at district centre Ramban.

He also reviewed the functioning of the Centre and the status of registrations under the J&K Startup Policy and the recovery of loans in the district.

Interacting with the trainees, the Director KEDI assured them of all possible support for establishing their business ventures. He applauded the determination of the aspiring women entrepreneurs to attend the training despite the difficult terrain of the region.

The Director also discussed the relevance of the training programme to the respective business ventures and sought suggestions from the trainees for any improvement or modifications needed in the current work schedule of Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs). The Director also reviewed the registrations, Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs (EAPs), and Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs) conducted in the year 2024, formulation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), Recovery status-chronic as well as Chronic activated and demand notices issued.

District Nodal Officer JKEDI delivered the vote of thanks, while all faculty and non-faculty members were present on the occasion.

The JKEDI has been providing training to the candidates registered under the Tejaswini scheme and preparing their detailed project reports to help them establish business ventures.

By providing a supportive environment and necessary resources, JKEDI is empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to turn their ideas into successful business ventures.
