SRINAGAR, JUNE 13: IAS Probationers, Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat and Santosh Gunwantrao Sukhadeve, accompanied by their Course Co-ordinator Dr. S. Khurshid Ul Islam called on Governor N. N. Vohra.

Interacting with the Probationers, Governor enquired about their training schedules and advised them to maintain unimpeachable integrity and work devotedly to deliver the goals of good governance, effective delivery of public services, and time-bound implementation of the various schemes for promoting welfare and development.

Governor advised the young officers to recognize that they were among the privileged few in the whole country to have been selected for serving the people of J&K and enhancing the growth and advancement of the State. He advised Sukhadeve, who belongs to Maharashtra, to quickly learn the State language, which would enable him to first hand understand the problems faced by the ordinary people. Governor wished both the officers bright careers ahead.

Lokesh Dutt Jha, Vice Chairman and Director General J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, was present on the occasion.
