According to reports from the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, the patient is brain dead. Since all ICU beds at SMHS Hospital were already occupied, the patient was transferred to Super Specialty Hospital and placed on a ventilator in the ICU of the Hospital, where a full-fledged Department of Neurosurgery is also operational.

“The patient is being managed in the ICU of Super Specialty Hospital under the close and vigilant supervision of the Departments of Neurosurgery and Anesthesiology,” read the statement.

Furthermore, it was alleged that the clip was disseminated on social media by some freelance or self-styled journalists in order to sensationalize it to serve their malicious intentions against this esteemed institution, without any knowledge of the case.
