Shopian Rockers beat Hilal Cc kanipora by 7 wickets

In the ongoing tournament at Shopian Sports stadium organized by District cricket forum Shopian under JKPL Jammu Kashmir premier league Shopian Rockers defeated Hilal Cricket Club Kanipora by 7 wickets.

After winning toss Hilal CC Kanipora Scored 144 Runs in 25 overs in allotted 40 overs of game Zubair Mir with 38 runs was the top scorer for his team while as other players could not do much for Hilal CC kanipora.

Shopian Rockers easily chased down the target of 144 Runs in just 17 overs with their 3 wickets down.  Basit Ahmad was awarded Man of the match for his brilliant batting and scoring 38 Runs unbeaten and scalping one wicket.

Meanwhile, in the previous match of the tournament Pinjura Lions overpowered YMCC Babanar by 1 Wicket.

Batting first YMCC played well and scored 182 in 36 overs Aadil with 36 Runs and Irfan with 34 Runs took their team to set the target of 182 runs for opposite rivals.

In the second innings wickets fell continuously for Pinjura lions but brilliant batting by Saleem Mir and Shahnawaz made their team to emerge as winners.

Saleem mir from Pinjura Lions scored 75 Runs and was awarded man of the match.
