Massive participation in VBSY programme in Mohammadpur, Barabanki

Lucknow: Massive participation of masses was registered at Mohammadpur Chandi Singh Gram Panchayat of Siddhaur Development Block of Barabanki as people thronged the Venue to register and to explore schemes .

Interacting with the media team that arrived here from Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Development Officer Ekta Singh said schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana are the major schemes that have been implemented across the Barabanki district and people have taken the benefits of these schemes.

The media team interacted with the beneficiaries who had come here to avail

Ayushman Card, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM Swanidhi and other such developmental schemes.

During the program ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Jubani’, beneficiaries revealed that earlier they used to live in a kutcha house due to which water would enter inside their house during the rainy season, but under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, they got a pucca house which eased their lives.

While taking to the media persons, two beneficiary-Mrs. Shanti Devi and Seni- said that earlier they used to cook food on the stove which took a lot of time but after getting the cylinder under Ujjwala scheme, they can cook the food quickly, getting time for children and family besides staying pollution free.

Meanwhile, the drone demonstration done by the Agriculture Department as a method of spraying nano urea highlighted the technology oriented approach that the farmers can adopt for better crops and also for saving time.

On the occasion, department officials explained the importance of Nano Urea for crops and provided information about other departmental schemes including natural farming.

She also said that in each Gram Panchayat, the administration is considering the construction of parks under MNREGA, with 34 parks already established for public convenience.

Chief Development Officer Ekta Singh further said that the farmers have received comprehensive education on the application of balanced fertilizers, natural farming practices, and the technique of utilizing nano urea through drones.

She also added that two drones, along with training for two women from the district, have been provided who now spray fields with nano urea and ensure balanced fertilizer distribution for the farmers
