VBSY programme at Rajajipuram: JK journalists take first hand stock, speak with the direct beneficiaries

Lucknow: Ateam of reputed journalists from Jammu and Kashmir today participated in the programs of Vikas Bharat SankalpYatra (VBSY) in Rajajipuram area of Lucknow to take first hand stock of things and speak with the direct beneficiaries of various government schemes. The journalist team is here as part of‘inter-state media coverage’ of the VBSY going on across the country for the promotion of central schemes.

The programme was organized at ‘Yogananda Girls Inter College’.

While highlighting the various initiatives of the current government, the chief guest of the program, Ram Chandra Pradhan, Member Legislative Council said that the Modi led government had transformed the lives of people across the economic divide. He said that those living on the margins were successfully brought on the developmental map owing to the appropriate and well though schemes aimed at uplifting the poor.

Other speakers at the occasion including, AnjaniSrivastava, Anoop Kamal Saxena(Councillor), AbhishekKhare(District Convenor VBSY), Satendra Singh (Co-Convenor), Ajay Soni, (Mandal President) spoke at length about VBSY and how it had impacted the lives of poor and the marginalised.

The speakers highlighted the significance of VBSY that had brought the information about various welfare schemes to the doorsteps of the masses. “The able leadership of our Prime Minister and is team has crafted policies and schemes that are apt and have proved to drastically change the status quo of the masses bringing them on the map of development,” Ram Chandra Pradhan asserted. He further added that the pace with which the country was progressing was evident that the standards of life shall soon change for the marginalised.

Meanwhile several counters, information windows and counselling stalls were opened on a large scale for the schemes being run by the Government of India including PM UjjwalaYojana, PM VishwakarmaYojana, PM SwanidhiYojana, AyushmanYojana, old age/disabled/widow pension and Aadhaar card updating and a large number of beneficiaries were registered by the Health Department.

Chief Development Officer Lucknow, Manoj Kumar Yadav, Banarasi Das (Tax Superintendent/Nodal Officer BSY-Zone-6) and employees associated with Swachh Bharat Mission etc. were present in the said program.

The journalists also spoke with the beneficiaries about the various schemes being availed by them besides the processes to acquire the benefits.
