On the occasion, the Advisor engaged with the local community and assessed the implementation of various healthcare initiatives and other flagship schemes under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The discussions and interactions held during this visit provided valuable insights into the impact of the ongoing healthcare programs at the grassroots level.

As a part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge, the participants including BDCs, DDCs, district officers, PRIs, and locals reaffirmed their commitment towards the nation’s development.

The program featured a message from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, played through an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van. The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani’ segment showcased beneficiaries sharing success stories of schemes like PMAY, PMJA, UMEED, KCC, PM Kissan, Poshan Abhiyan, Old Pension and others.

Interacting with the officers, the Advisor said that the visit aimed to strengthen the coordination between the central and local authorities, ensuring the efficient execution of healthcare programs and services. “It also provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and innovation in the delivery of healthcare to the citizens of Ganderbal,” he added.

While addressing the gathering, the Advisor expressed gratitude for the participants’ efforts and commended the district administration for successfully conducting the program. He highlighted the VBSY’s role in creating awareness, bridging gaps for inclusive development, and fostering engagement with government schemes. He also acknowledged the collaborative spirit and commitment demonstrated by the community towards the objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

Additionally, the Advisor visited Ayushman Arogya Mandir Kurag, where they inspected the facilities and services offered. This on-site evaluation allowed Rajiv Wadhawan to gain firsthand knowledge of the challenges and successes encountered in providing healthcare services to the residents.

The Advisor expressed appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the healthcare professionals and the local administration in Ganderbal.
