The MPs assured full support and their intervention in getting the needful done for removing the administrative bottlenecks from the J&K Government by using their good offices.

On the occasion, Dr. Farooq Abdullah echoed the woes of the consumers and impressed upon the department to ensure efficacy in their outreach. “The public sector undertaking lags behind in terms of its reach out and quality of service. On the contrary, the market share of private telecom companies is increasing day by day, their services are better and their reach and service are far ahead of BSNL. The subscriber base of these private players is also far ahead of BSNL. Unfortunately, BSNL had not been able to catch up with these private players,” he said.
