Pir Panjal Brigade conducts Inter-AGS Elocution Competition at AGS Boniyar

Baramulla: The Inter-AGS Elocution Competition was successfully conducted at AGS Boniyar, organized by Pir Panjal Brigade on July 31st, 2023. 

This event aimed to instill a sense of curiosity about current issues among students and enhance their public speaking skills. Amongst 30 AGSs/AGPS functioning in Chinar Corps Zone, six teams qualified for the finals in the Intra AGS Elocution competition.

Students from various Army Goodwill Schools, including AGS Aishmuqam, AGS Wayne, AGPS Phalgham, AGS Krusan, AGS Hanzik, and Brig Rajinder Singh AGS Boniyar, participated in the event. Three participants from each team spoke on three engaging topics: “Women in Defence as Part of Women Empowerment,” “Atma Nirbhar Bharat,” and “Youth and Drugs.”

In a spirited competition, Momin Fayaz from AGPS Pahalgam was crowned the best speaker, and Soliha Farooq from AGS Krusan was declared the Runner’s Up. Brig Rajinder Singh AGS Boniyar secured the First Position Trophy, and AGS Hanzik won the Runner’s Up Trophy. 

The judging panel consisted of impartial judges from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Baramulla, and Govt Higher Secondary School, Boniyar.
