Srinagar, May 24: Suspected militants on Thursday evening lobbed a grenade towards a paramilitary CRPF camp at Safakadal area of Srinagar city.
A police officer told GNS that the militants hurled a grenade on 161 bn CRPF camp at Braripora, Safakdal. However, the device missed the target and exploded outside the sentry post along the roadside.
In the blast four vehicles including two auto rickshaws, one santro and a school bus suffered damage, the officer said.
There was no injury to any person in the incident, the officer said.
