HCoI extends date for submission of Hajj application forms till March 20

Srinagar: The Haj Committee of India (HCoI) Friday announced to extend of the date of Haj application forms till March 20.

News agency KNO reported that HCoI member Er Aijaz Hussain said that the date for filling out the application forms for Haj 2023 has been extended to March 20.

“Hajj aspirants can fill out the forms till March 20. Hajj forms are available on the Website of HCoI,” he said. 

This year, Hussain said that Hajj has been made cheaper by Rs 80,000 while better facilities have been ensured for the pilgrims at Makkah and Madina. This year, 25 embankment points have been set up across the country to facilitate pilgrims. 

He also said over 10,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj from J&K while one lakh Indian pilgrims are expected to leave for Haj 2023.
