Police felicitate 3 youths for showing act of bravery in Bla

Srinagar: SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure felicitated 3 local youths of Baramulla Town for saving two precious lives from drowning in river Jhelum.

According to a press release, these three brave youths who were felicitated include Saqib Ahmad Gojri son of Ghulam Ahmad Gojri resident of Qazi Hamam Old Town Baramulla, Wamiq Parveiz Kullu son of Parvaiz Ahmad Kullu resident of Ganie Hamam Baramulla, and Sahil Ahmad War son of Late Wali Mohammad War resident of Gulnaar Park Baramulla for showing an act of bravery while saving 02 precious lives from drowning in river Jhelum at Suspension Bridge Dewanbagh Baramulla and Cement Bridge Baramulla in two different incidents. “They were felicitated with tokens of appreciation, mementos, and cash rewards.”

“SSP Baramulla appreciated them for the act of bravery in saving precious lives on time & said that such activities will definitely inspire others to do more good for society,” the press release reads.

“The felicitation ceremony was also attended by Addl. SP RK Parihar, DySP DAR Peerzada Aijaz, and SHO Baramulla DySP (Prob) Naveed,” it reads.
