Govt employees deputation calls on Ghulam Hassan Mir in Jammu

JAMMU: A deputation of govt employees today called on Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir here at the Gandhi Nagar office in Jammu.

The deputation demanded the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme in favour of the Govt employees of Jammu and Kashmir claiming that they were rendered helpless under the New Pension Scheme since 2010.

After listening to the grievances of the deputation, Ghulam Hassan Mir assured them that the Apni Party will make possible efforts for the fulfillment of their demand.

“The demand will be projected at the appropriate platform,” he said addressing the deputation.

He said that most of the States have restored the Old Pension Scheme and therefore, the Apni Party will highlight their demand in the appropriate forms.

On this occasion, State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh, Provincial Vice President, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, and others.

The deputation members include President NMOPS, Mohd Ashraf, Chief Convenor, Rajeev Sharma, Mohd Irfan, Mohd Iqbal Mughal, Syed Lateef Nazki, and others.
