Mehbooba Mufti holds meeting of Habba Kadal Zone

Srinagar: Stating that the party won’t give up representing the aspirations of the people of J&K, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday urged the party cadres to go for rigorous public outreach and prepare for coming Municipality elections. 

This was stated by Mehbooba while presiding over the meeting of the Habba Kadal Assembly Constituency on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by Gen sectary organisation Dr Mehboob Beg, Ex-minister Aasiya Naqash, youth president Waheed Parra, Ex MLA Anjum Fazli district president Abdul Qayoom Bhat constituency in charge Habba Kadal Arif Laigaroo, zonal president Sameer ul Jameel and others.

During the meeting, Mehbooba urged the participants to start a rigorous Public Outreach Programme. He urged them to hold at least two zonal-level meetings during the month.

PDP President also urged the leaders and workers to get ready for the coming Municipal Elections. He urged them to reach out to the people with the party’s pledge that PDP will vouch for the lost rights of the people of JK.

Besides, Mehbooba also asked the workers and leaders to carry out massive membership drives.

Party General Secretary, Dr Mehboob Beg urged the participants to reach out to every household in their constitutes. He said that the party is meant to represent the aspirations of the people of J&K. 

Constituency Incharge Arif Laigaroo during the meeting apprised Mehbooba and other leaders about party activities in Habba Kadal. He said that he along with the people of the constituency are following the manifesto of the party in letter and spirit.

Laigaroo said that come what PDP won’t give up representing the aspirations of the people of J&K.
