Kreeri girl pens down poetry book ‘My Lost Childhood’

Baramulla: A class 11th girl of Kreeri, Baramulla district has penned down her debut poetry book “My Lost Childhood” which comprises thirty poems.

Seerat Manzoor, a student at Govt. Higher Secondary School Kreeri started in the 9th class. Her Father was killed by unknown gunmen when she was merely 3 months old which left a very huge impact on her life.

The book talks about human emotions, self-love, bondings, and the relationship with the father. “The language used in the book is lucid,” Seerat said.

When asked about her future goals Seerat said that she is looking forward to appearing in the NEET. ”I am a science student and I’m very passionate about becoming a doctor,” she said.

Seerat says that publishing a book was never possible without the help of her mother. “My mother is my mentor and inspiration. All this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my mother and my brother,” she says.
