FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Uri: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who is on a three-day visit to north Kashmir’s Uri, on Tuesday said that Apni Party, after getting people’s mandate to serve, will ensure equivalent development to all the regions in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a press release issued here, on the second day of his tour, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited Dumping Boniyar Baila Migrant Camp, Trikanjan, Dhundhran, Dundhran Kohi Kohinaka, Madan, and other places wherein people belonging to different walks of life met the Apni Party leader and informed him about the public issues and their grievances.

While addressing a public rally at Trikanjan, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed deep concern over the lack of development and basic facilities in Uri.

“This border region has been left underdeveloped and people have been deprived of even the basic facilities here. Uri’s infrastructural deficit and lack of development clearly indicate that the politicians, who remained at the helm during the past 75 years, have deceived the people and neglected this region completely,” he said.

He promised that Apni Party, when it comes to power, will ensure every place gets equivalent development and prosperity to all the people in J&K.

“Times have changed. Due to the technological revolution, the world has become a global village, thus no place should be left underdeveloped just because of its far-flung location. I promise you that Apni Party, when it gets a mandate to serve the people, will ensure equal development of all the regions irrespective of their geographical locations and prosperity to all irrespective of caste, creed, political affiliations, and religious identities of the people,” he said.

Several public delegations and including some social and religious personalities met the Apni Party leader and informed him about the public issues and grievances. They also complained about severe infrastructure deficits in most of the areas in Uri.

They demanded the requirement of a Sports Stadium, infrastructure for the electricity supply to the populations in various far-flung areas, employment opportunities for the youth in the private sector, and government support to boost the education sector in this border area.

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari gave a patient hearing to the people and assured them that he will do everything to bring these issues to the notice of concerned authorities for their quick redressal.
