Workshop on conduct of SSB exams held at Budgam

BUDGAM, MAY 9: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Budgam Mohammad Farooq Dar today chaired a daylong workshop on the process to be followed while conducting forthcoming Service Selection Board (SSB) exams.

SSB member Musheer Ahmad Mirza, experts from the outsourcing agency were also present in the meeting.

Appointed District level observers, centre superintendents and invigilators also participated in the daylong programme. Many of the queries of the participants were resolved satisfactory by the teams from SSB.

In his address ADC, stressed on meticulous work by concerned to ensure free and fair conduct of forthcoming exams.

ADC said directed all the school heads to ensure comfortable environment for the candidates with proper seating arrangements and other facilities.

He said that the entire examination process would be video-graphed by the concerned agency to ensure fool proof transparency.

ADC said that an election type strong room has been created at the district headquarter for storing the examination material after lifting it form the JKSSB office a day before the examinations.

ADC directed school heads to deploy staff having clean record and who have never indulged in unfair means during their services to conduct the exams in full transiency.

He stressed that superintendents should ensure there is no unnecessary rush around the examination centers.

He said that superintendents should ensure neither candidates nor invigilators take mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets inside examination centers during examinations.

Earlier, member SSB, Musheer Ahmad Mirza appreciated the efforts of the district administration and other concerned who were involved in the previous conduct of exams and exuded hope that the future phases of fast track recruitment will also live up to the standards. He urged the participants to be forthcoming in resolving their doubts if any.
