SRINAGAR: J&K Sports Council today conducted screening of J&K Sqay teams in which 20 Men & 20 Women athletes have been cleared by the committee for the participation of J&K teams in All India Sqay championship 2021-2022.
The All India Sqay championship is scheduled to be held at Pahalgam, from 28th to 30th March, 2022.
According to the officers of J&K Sports Council, Jammu & Kashmir is all set to host All India Sqay championship 2022 in which 22 States & UT are going to take part in the event.
The said championship will be organized by Jammu & Kashmir Sqay Association under the aegis of Sqay Federation of India.
Meanwhile, the Jammu & Kashmir Sqay Association expressed its gratitude to J&K Sports Council for supporting Traditional Martial Art of Kashmir which presently has got recognition at National as well as global level.
