MD JKPCC visits Budgam, inspects ongoing works

Budgam: Managing Director, JKPCC, R.K. Shavan today held a day-long visit to district Budgam and inspected progress of various ongoing projects there.

During the visit, the MD inspected construction works at Panchayat Bhawan Humhama, Transit Accommodation at Sheikhpora and Owngam Arwah Bridge being constructed by JKPCC. The MD was informed by the officials about the progress of each project besides he was also apprised about the aspects of each project.

On the occasion, the MD directed the officials to identify bottlenecks, if any , which are hindering the pace of work and get those resolved at the earliest for the timely completion of these prestigious projects.

Similarly, the MD also inspected construction sites at Sail Bridge and Sheep Breeding Farm, Kralpathri.

While assessing the progress of works on these sites, the MD stressed upon the officers of executing agencies that quality of work and other building standards should be maintained while accomplishing these prestigious projects of public importance.

The MD, while on tour also interacted with Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, and discussed the issues pertaining to the ongoing projects of JKPCC Ltd. During the interaction, it was reiterated that extra care should be taken to ensure quality work of each project under execution in the district.
