Srinagar: A civilian injured after militants fired upon a police and CRPF party in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday has succumbed.
Shafeeq Shabir Shah, son of Shabir Ahmad Shah, a resident of Shopian district was injured after militants attacked a government forces party in Lazbal area of Anantnag earlier in the day.
The injured was been shifted to hospital for medical assistance where he succumbed.
Militants travelling in a car had opened fire on a road-opening party (ROP) of forces in Anantnag, police said.
