SP College from J&K, which took part in the campaign held recently, was recognized as a partner in BCC. The twenty-day long programme was flagged off by Principal of the college Professor Khursheed Ahmad Khan.

Khan sensitised the participants about their responsibility towards the society telling them that how small efforts with positive intention can lead to bigger changes in future.

Three faculty members including Dr. Khalida Hassan, Dr. Sameera Siraj and Dr. Syed Raashid and around 30 NSS volunteers were involved in rendering valuable service during the pandemic.

The team facilitated health workers during vaccination programmes, gave medical and grocery to the families affected by Covid. Door to door campaigning was also done during this period.  The volunteers displayed videos in their regional languages on the social media to disseminate information regarding precautions against Covid and information about vaccination.

On 31st July, the work done during the campaign was presented by Dr. Khalida Hassan (NSS Programme Officer). The total number of beneficiaries during the campaign were around 3000 persons for vaccination, 500 families grocery help, 250 families medical help and   counselling was done to around 700 people.
