Advisor Khan reviews functioning of Stationery & Supplies, Govt Press, ARI & Trainings Depts

Srinagar: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Stationery & Supplies, Government Press, and ARI &Trainings Departments.

A threadbare discussion was held on various aspects of the Stationery & Supplies Department including its functioning, man power management, optimal use of resources, financial position, besides availability of staff and various other issues concerning the department.

The Advisor stressed upon the concerned to take the early and immediate steps for the implementation of various decisions taken with regard to the department.

The Advisor was also briefed by Secretary ARI &Trainings Department, Abdul Majeed Bhat about the functioning of Govt. Press at Jammu/Srinagar and also was informed about the functioning of the Press with respect to printing and publishing of all Government related assignments.

On the occasion, Advisor Khan stressed upon the concerned for developing the Press on modern lines and adopting best practices to create it profit-making utility.

On the occasion, the discussion was also held on various issues including quality, service matters, and concerns of the given departments.

Among others, the meeting was also attended by Director-General Stationery & Supplies, Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, OSD to Advisor Mohammad Ashraf Hakak and other senior officers.
