FCS&CA has appealed to the consumers if they have not yet seeded their Aadhaar details with ration card. The department has urged such consumers to get it done at the nearest FPS center, TSO’s office or Assistant Director’s office in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.

“If you don’t have your Aadhaar card, get yourself Aadhaar enrolled at your nearest ICDS center, Post Office, Bank, District offices or any Aadhaar enrolment center,” the appeal read.

It added that if a consumer’s biometric authentication fails, they can update their biometrics at the above centers.

You can locate the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Center at the official website: https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/EACenterSearch.aspx?value=1
