Odo Spartans whip FCC Andergam in a thriller

Sopore:In the ongoing ‘Wular Premier League’, Odo Spartans thrashed FCC Andergam in a thriller of a contest. Earlier, Odo Spartans after winning the toss posted 140 runs in 20 overs. Skipper Zahoor Sofi led from the front scoring 34 runs whereas Amin Sofi added 20 runs as Odo Spartans set target of 141 runs for FCC Andergam. For FCC Andergam, Gh Hassan bagged 3 wickets.

In reply, FCC Andergam lost a nail biting contest by 2 runs as Inayat’s fiery knock of 34 runs went in vain. For Odo Spartans, Zahoor Sofi did shine with the balls as well picking up 3 key wickets. Zahoor Sofi is renowned cricketer from valley as has represented J&K team in Ranji Trophy as well. Zahoor Sofi was adjudged as man of the match for his dazzling all-round performance.
