Army begins online registration for recruitment rally in J&K

Srinagar: The Indian Army is conducting a recruitment rally from 17 May till 28 May at Sonarwani Bandipora.

According to the defense spokesperson, an army recruitment rally will be conducted from 17 May 2021 to 28 May 2021 at Sonarwani, Bandipora, UT of J & K for eligible candidates of districts – Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Sopian, Ganderbal,  Bandipora and Kulgam for all categories i.e Soldier General Duty (GD), Soldier Tradesmen (8th and 10th), Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management (Clk/SKT/IM), Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary.

“Screening of the eligible candidates volunteering to join Indian Army will be carried out at rally site and as per the schedule intimated through respective e-mail IDs. All prospective candidates should register and apply online between 02 Apr 2021 to 01 May 2021 through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates who have already registered themselves in recruiting year 2020-21 are required to register again as the previous notification has been cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 02 May 2021 to 15 May 2021. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in,” the defense spokesperson said.

“Recruitment is a free service and is conducted in a fair and impartial manner. Selection will be made purely on a merit basis. Aspirants are advised not to fall prey to any tout/anti-social element. Selected candidates will not only get a lifetime opportunity to serve in the Army but will also be able to serve the Nation with honour and dignity,” he said.
