Advisor Khan had more than one and a half-hour online address and interaction with the students. He discussed in detail about the various progressive initiatives being undertaken by the Government of India and the Lt Governor’s administration in J&K for ushering in an era of peace and development in the Union Territory under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister.

In another question on the abrogation of Article 370 Khan observed that it removed obstacles in bringing J&K at par with other areas of the Nation. Thus helping us in empowering the neglected and needy lot of the society.

Later, Dr Pratiba Naitthani, Head of the Department of Political Science of St. Xavier’s college while expressing gratitude to Advisor Farooq Khan said“the institution is grateful for this very informative and meaningful discussion.”He added that this interaction will go a long way in clearing the doubts and misinformation on J&K. The students were very impressed with your humble, kind yet assertive delivery of views. They are very grateful to you for the same, he said further.

The proceedings of the discussion were conducted by Dr Sherya from the host institution.
