Srinagar: As Kashmir emerges from the shadow of COVID and enters a new era of peace & development, a mega cultural extravaganza is being organized at Gulmarg from 06 to 08 Feb 21, a defence spokesman said in a statement issued here.

“The snow clad mountains of Gulmarg have always been a major tourist attraction, and Indian Army along with  J&K Tourism Department have come together to provide a platform to the local youths to showcase their talents,” said the spokesman.

He said that the two days extravaganza would include adventure activities such as skiing, snow mobile & ATV race as also snow cycling & other such activities. Cultural performances by renowned artists of Kashmir would be another draw for the tourists. The other highlights would be promotion of local cuisines & handicrafts.

“Bollywood has come together in this endeavor and Arbaaz Khan along with Vidya  Balan would be in attendance to inspire the local talents. Other notable artists performing in the event include Altmash Faridi, Aabid Aly, Shafi Sopori, Zubair Khan, Waseem Ahmed and Umer Rockband,” said the spokesman.
