JKP signs MoU with BSE Institute Limited

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police and Bombay  Stock  Exchange (BSE) Institute Limited today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) wherein BSE Institute Limited will be providing skill development training courses to wards of Police martyrs and the wards of serving police personnel  . The MoU was signed in presence of Director General of Police Dilbag Singh, Chairperson PWWA Dr. Rubinder Kaur,senior Police officers and PWWA members in a function held at Police GOs mess Gulshan Ground.

The function was attended by ADGsP A.K Choudhary,  Deepak Kumar, A.G Mir,T.Namgyal  ,  IGsP Mukesh Singh, M.K Sinha, ,  Garib Dass,  Alok Kumar,  Shri, Ambarish Datta, MD & CEO, BSE Institute Ltd, Rahul Ranadive, Vice President, BSE Institute Ltd, Soumya Ranjan, Head, BFSI Sector Skill Council of India, Ganesh Ram, Head, BSE Star Mutual Fund platform ,AIGs PHQ, Rayees Bhat, Manoj Kumar Pandith and other officers.

DGP Dilbag Singh while speaking on the occasion said that it all started when BSE Institute Limited had come for a UT level function to promote youth employability. He said that during the interaction we  came to know that BIL is working into the skill development of youth in various parts of the country. He said BSE Institute Ltd is very keen do training programmes for the wards of Martyrs and the wards of serving police personnel and added that it is great feeling to know that they are into doing separate skill development programmes for Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar.

He said that besides, wards of police personnel and wards of serving, retired police personnel,  we have around 500 youth of UT who took part in sports activities and added that we look forward to work with BSE for skill development of these youth as well. He said that more opportunities need to be provided to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir so that they could contribute in nation’s growth. He said J&K Police will facilitate and provide all assistance for such an endeavour as well.

While speaking on the occasion Ambrish Dutta said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is one of the bravest police forces of the country and added that they are privileged and honoured on partnering with it today. He said that our skill development programmes are about sustainable growth and economic development. He said under this MoU we will be  providing  skill development courses to the wards of martyrs, serving, retired police personnel and change their lives for better. He said that we are also organising special courses for the students of Police Public schools Jammu and Srinagar, wherein they will be educated about the banking and financial education and added that it will help them to get better jobs in future.

He said it will also be our objective to be part of a large scale outreach programmes of Jammu and Kashmir Police and added that it would serve as a tool in integrating the society.

The MoU was signed by AIG welfare Manoj Kumar Pandith on behalf of J&K Police and Ambrish Dutta on behalf of BIL.

The MoU reads that this Agreement is for collaboration on to mobilize, train, design courses   and support wards of JKP officials serving, retired as well as martyred. The objective of this agreement is to improve skills of these wards. Under this Agreement, BIL will design course, train, do assessment & its certification of trainees as per prescribed guidelines.

The agreement will cover skill development programmes for youth, women and other eligible candidates for creating employability, skills and sustainable livelihood. Under this agreement, BIL will help schools under the JKP jurisdiction to introduce vocational skills for Banking & financial markets, Insurance courses.
