Odo Spartans Srinagar and Chand Champions register wins

Sopore, April 07: The first match of the day was played between PCC Tarzoo and Odo Spartans Srinagar. Odo Spartans decided to bat first aster winning the toss and loss some quick wickets before Mohsin Ramzan and Syed Sagar played responsible knocks and helped Odo Spartans to post 146 runs on board. Mohsin remained the top scorer with 55 runs while as Syed Sagar added useful 36*. For PCC Tarzoo Amir provided his team with 2 early breakthroughs.

In reply, PCC Tarzoo batsmen were restricted on 97 in the allotted 20 overs, hence losing the match by 49 runs.  Sajjad remained the leading run scorer with 29 runs. Mohsin Ramzan bagged man of the match award for his brilliant knock of 55 runs.

In second match of the day, Chand Champions after winning the toss scored 154 runs in alloted 20 overs with Javid and Uzair adding 30 runs each. For SSC, Mudasir took 3 wickets and Hazik Bhat picked 2 wickets. In reply, SSC fell short of 19 runs with Zubair (32) and Hazik Bhat’s (30) knock in vain.  For Chand Champions, Mohsin bagged 3 wickets while as Samiullah Beig and Irshad picked two wickets each. Mohsin was declared as man of the match.
