The Vice Chairperson emphasized that there is an urgent need for adoption of cluster approach to revive the traditional crafts and activities.

While throwing the light on aims and objectives regarding establishment of the said cluster, she said that facilities like dyeing, calendaring, washing etc. shall be provided to artisans under one roof.

The DDC stressed that efforts must be made by associated stakeholders to ensure that the benefits of the cluster establishment are percolated among the target population. He also directed the members of the board to invite fresh applications for membership so that an amicable settlement of the problem is made.

Emphasizing on entrepreneur development under MSME, the DDC said that district Administration will ensure hand holding and financial assistance through various financial institutions and with the help of NABARD.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director KVIB, technical staff and other senior officers of the board besides officers from Implementing Agency and Technical Agency and associated artisans and workers were also present during the interactive session.
