Srinagar, Apr 02: Police on Monday identified the militants killed in Kachdoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
According to police, the slain militants have been identified as Ishfaq Thokar, resident of Paddarpora Shopian; Aitmad Hussain Dar, resident of Amshipora Shopian; Aqib Bashir, resident of DH Pora Kulgam; Sameer Lone of Hillow Shopian, and Gayas-ul-Islam Thoker of Paderpora.
Five militants were killed in the firefight that raged since Sunday morning till evening.
With their death, the toll in the three gunfights in south Kashmir yesterday rose to 20. The slain include 13 militants, four civilians and three soldiers.
