Pulwama: Three unidentified militants were killed while as a solider was critically injured in an encounter that broke out between militants and security in Zadoora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday, officials said.
A senior police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three unidentified militants have been killed while as solider has been injured in an exchange of fire between government forces and militants in Zadoora Pull while as search operation is on in the area.

Three militants have been killed whose identity is being ascertained, the official told KNO adding that Solider was critically injured who has been shifted to 92 base hospital Srinagar for treatment.
Earlier, an official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 50 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
