Ganderbal Mar 30: Police today claimed to have arrested an Over Ground Workers of Hizbul Mujahideen in Pati Shalbugh here.

In a press briefing SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Lone said, “On specific information we cordoned of area of Pati Shalbugh and started search operation. During the search operation an OGW was arrested with possession of incriminating material which include HM posters, HM stamp pads and Combat dresses. He was supporting HM for quite a time.”

SSP further said, “He was  involved in dissemination of  HM poster in Ganderbal.”

SSP said the arrested OGW was identified as Nazir Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Khaliq Malik of Lobar Mohalla Shallbug Ganderbal.

” In this Regard FIR number 41/2018 under section 212 Act had been registered in Police Station Ganderbal and investigation of the case is going on.”SSP said.
