Srinagar, Mar 29: Police on Thursday said that three persons, including two girls, attempted to commit suicide in three separate incidents in Kashmir valley.
“In Budgam, a girl from Beerwah consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard,” said a spokesman, in a statement.
In Kupwara, a girl consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment wherefrom she has been shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for further treatment, spokesman said, adding police has registered a case in this regard.
In Ganderbal also, a youth from Manasbal consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment while s police has registered a case in this regard as well.
