Poonch: A soldier was killed as lightning struck him along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu division on Monday.
Official sources told GNS that Sepoy Mohammad Asif of 6 Jakli, attached with 40 RR, died when the lightning hit him in Sabzian in Mandi area of Poonch.
A resident of Bhatadhurian in Mendhar, the soldier died on the spot, they added.
