Srinagar: Police on Monday said that they foiled an attempt by militants to loot a bank in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
A spokesman of police said that militants appeared at the Bugam branch of J&K Bank in Kulgam and tried to loot the public money.
“The alert security personnel present there foiled their attempt and the robbers fled away from the spot. Manhunt has been launched to nab the perpetrators”, police spokesman said.
