Floriculture Department organizes Training Programme on ‘Dry Flower Making’

JAMMU, MARCH 24: Department of Floriculture Parks & Gardens, organized a two -day training programme on ‘Dry Flower Making’ for officers & Gardeners of Jammu District.

The Training programme was inaugurated by Director, Department of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, Jammu, Babila Rakwal.

Speaking on the occasion, Director, Floriculture   stressed upon promoting Dry Flower Making in Jammu Division that fetches good returns in National & International markets.

During the event Namita, Scientist, Division of Floriculture & Landscaping, Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi trained the participants on different aspects of Dry Flower Making like press drying, embedded drying, water drying, dry flower arrangements, value added products etc.
