COVID-19: Mayor meets management of private hospitals of City

SRINAGAR, MARCH 16: Mayor SMC, Junaid Azim Mattu today convened a meeting of private hospitals’ management of Srinagar City to discuss infection prevention control programme for COVID-19, here today.

Commissioner SMC, Gazanfar Ali and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.

The Health Officer Dr. Qazi Javaid gave the details of prevention and control programme and apprised the participants about fumigation and the disinfectants which need to be used to prevent the spread of infection.

The Commissioner appealed the management of private hospitals to take immediate measures to sanitize their hospitals and nursing homes to prevent the spread of infection.

They were requested to comply with the advisory issued by the SMC in this regard.
