ANANTNAG, MARCH 14: According to the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, a Committee for Prevention of COVID – 19 has been constituted in the district.
The Committee consisting of Additional Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Gh Hassan Sheikh as Chairman and Chief Medical Office Anantnag, District Informatics Officer Anantnag & District Information Officer Anantnag as members will monitor the preparedness and prevention against the occurrence of the disease in the district, besides liaising with the Zonal Level and Tehsil Level Committees and collecting data from the field on daily basis.
The Tehsildars of the district have also been asked to constitute committees at village level under the Chairmanship of head of the highest educational institution in the village with Patwaries, VLWs, Anganwadi Worker & ASHAs as members.
