Officials informed the DC that over 60 per cent of the construction work had been completed. The facility will include modern classrooms, a computer laboratory, library, indoor games court, gymnasium, medical and therapy rooms, dormitory and dining hall, besides other essential facilities.

Labroo directed R&B engineers to expedite the work and ensure its completion by March 2027 while maintaining quality standards.

During the visit, he also handed over a dedicated school bus to Abhinandan Home to facilitate safe and convenient transportation for students with special needs.

Interacting with students and staff, the DC assured them of continued support from the district administration. He also stressed the need to expand educational opportunities through higher education, vocational training, skill development and trade diploma courses at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) to improve prospects for self-reliance and employment.

The visit was accompanied by senior district officers, engineers and representatives of Abhinandan Home.
